If you need more information from DBT or the Post Office Limited to make your application, you can request it by contacting us at horizonconvictionsredress@businessandtrade.gov.uk . We’ll let you know if this information is available and when it has been added to the portal. We may ask you for more information.
DBT aims to issue a first offer to 90% on cases within 40 working days of receiving a full HCRS claim. A full claim is a claim which DBT considers does not require any further evidence to assess all its elements. Where additional evidence is requested, the 40 working days will not start until the required evidence is received from the claimant or any other source. The same standard applies to challenged cases. Once an applicant submits a complete challenge to an HCRS offer, we will aim to issue a response within 40 working days.
